Increasing the energy efficiency of the Aerosol Service plant by replacing machinery and equipment and installing renewable energy sources

Project co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the European Funds for Modern Economy (FENG).
Priority: FENG.03 - Greening of enterprises
Measure 3.01 - Green credit
Fund: European Regional Development Fund

Information about the project

Aerosol Service has launched a state-of-the-art investment project to increase the energy efficiency of its production facility. The project involves comprehensive modernization of the infrastructure by replacing machinery and equipment with more energy-efficient ones and implementing solutions based on renewable energy sources.

The project includes:

  • Construction of a 498 kWp photovoltaic farm to power the plant with renewable energy.
  • Installation of heat pumps for heating process water, which will reduce electricity consumption.
  • Replacement of air compressors with modern, more efficient equipment.
  • Replacement of the production line, which, thanks to innovative technological solutions, will allow to increase productivity and reduce the energy intensity of processes.

Project objectives

  • Improving the energy efficiency of the plant by at least 30%.
  • Reducing the cost of electricity consumption.
  • Reducing CO₂ and other greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Implement modern and flexible manufacturing solutions to better meet market needs.

Target groups

The project targets:

  • Aerosol Service's customers - thanks to modern production lines, they will receive higher quality products, manufactured in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
  • Business partners and contractors - who will be able to work with a company that meets increasingly stringent environmental and quality requirements.
  • Plant employees - thanks to the modernization of workstations and automation of processes, they will gain safer and more comfortable working conditions.
  • The local community and the environment - emission reductions and investments in RES will contribute to improved air quality and sustainable development of the region.

Effects and results

Implementation of the project will enable:

  • Renewable energy production for the plant's own use (444.9 MWh per year),
  • Reducing CO₂ emissions by nearly 315 tons per year,
  • A significant reduction in operating costs thanks to new technologies,
  • Reducing the time of production processes and increasing their flexibility,
  • Increase the company's competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.

Value of the project

  • Total cost of implementation: PLN 13,890,000.00
  • Funding from European Funds: PLN 4,256,000.00

Implementation of the project "Increasing the energy efficiency of the Aerosol Service plant by replacing machinery and equipment and installing renewable energy sources" is a milestone in the development of our company, which combines modern technologies with care for the environment. Thanks to investments in renewable energy sources, high-temperature heat pumps, a modern production line and optimization of energy processes, the plant will increase its energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The benefits of the project will be felt not only at the plant itself, but also in the local environment - by reducing emissions and introducing greener production practices. Modernization of the production line will allow greater production flexibility, reduce process times and ensure even higher quality of cosmetic products, which will translate into customer satisfaction.

The project is also an example of responsible business - it shows that technological innovation and concern for the environment can go hand in hand, and the support of European Funds makes it possible to implement ambitious, environmentally friendly projects. Thanks to this, Aerosol Service is becoming a model for other companies in the manufacturing sector that want to combine technological development with environmental protection and energy efficiency.
