A conversation with the President of Aerosol Service - about passion, innovation and company growth
Interviewed by Tom Daldry, the conversation appeared in the February issue of World Aerosols magazine.
What made you decide to pursue a career in contract manufacturing?
It's a story that goes deep into my family roots. More than 30 years ago, my father co-founded the company that my brother and I are privileged to run today. From an early age, I was immersed in the company's operations - watching it grow, learning from the ground up. I went through many positions: starting from operational, to managerial, to becoming President. Through this path, I gained an in-depth understanding of the entire organization and a belief that the key to success is cooperation.
What do you value most in your work?
The most inspiring thing for me is that every day brings new challenges. I love working with people - their commitment and ideas are the driving force behind our company. I get great satisfaction from creating new products, implementing innovative solutions and optimizing technological and logistic processes. Seeing our concepts become reality and respond to the needs of the market gives me the motivation to keep going.
What advice would you give to people who would like to follow a similar career path?
Stay calm in difficult moments and don't lose touch with reality. Commitment and a constant desire to grow are key. Knowledge is important, but success is determined by determination and openness to new experiences. You don't need to know everything at once - what matters is the willingness to learn and push your own limits.
How do you spend your free time?
Free time for me is moments spent with my family and nature. I live in Ustka, by the sea, which gives me the opportunity for daily contact with nature. I love walking with my dog - it's a great way to clear my mind. I have recently become interested in recreational aviation and plan to get my pilot's license. I am also passionate about traveling - it helps me relax and see the world from a new perspective.
What are you most proud of?
Definitely of the fact that Aerosol Service has become a stable and valued employer in the local market. I derive equal satisfaction from the trust of our customers - their appreciation is our greatest achievement. Each joint success confirms that we have taken the right direction.
What one piece of advice would you give yourself from the past?
Work smart, not just hard. Efficiency and strategic thinking often yield better results than effort alone - sometimes less is more if you approach things the right way.
What inspires you?
I don't have one authority - I'm inspired by people, different industries, disruptive technologies. Often it is the out-of-the-box approach that allows me to look at challenges from a different perspective and find the best solutions.
What do you look for when hiring new employees?
I look for people with a broad outlook, who think creatively and are not afraid of challenges. In our company we value commitment, willingness to learn and openness to new ideas. Such people fit best into our organizational culture.
What sets Aerosol Service apart from the competition?
There are many contract manufacturing companies in the European market, but we stand out with our approach to innovation. Our team is made up of passionate people who are constantly looking for unique solutions and optimizing processes to meet the needs of our partners.
What are the company's upcoming development plans?
We plan to double our production capacity at our current plant over the next three years. This is an ambitious goal, but one that is crucial for further growth and to meet the growing needs of our customers. Many of them treat us as a strategic partner - we want to further strengthen this position and build the future together.
